Report on adventure sports for young people


Introduction

The aim  of  this report is to suggest some adventure sports which young people could do in their free time.


Which sports ?

Our local sports club is situated in Cabra Corral's dam. It is one of the best places here in Salta. Young people would enjoy the landscape and also they would love all the sport activities that we have to offer.They could do several adventure sport activities such as canoening, bungee jumping and rafting. And also mountain bike and run sports.









Benefits


Doing these activities would benefit young people by making them self-sufficient, encouraging team spirit and giving then a sense of adventure.

Conclusion


I recommend organising these activities because young people would enjoy the adrenalin of these sports and also the activities help them to develop physically and mentally.

Essay for and against

Young people generally do not pay enough attention to their health and fitness

Most of the teenagers have a bad lifestyle regarding health. They do not pay attention to their health or fitness.

In the first place, teen do not have healthy eating habits, because they do not consume healthy food like vegetable, fruits, etc. Nowadays teenagers prefer to eat junk food such as burgers, sandwitches, hot dogs. What is more teen give more value to hang out with friends and also spend their hours sleeping, as a result of this they do not do a lot of physical activities which is a good way to keep in shape.

However, there are some young people who practise sports and are interested about their health, and try to set aside bad habits like smoking, drinking alcohol....

Taking everything into account, I believe that young peolple should take care of their body through healthy food and also doing exercise.

 Introduction

The purpose of this report is to discuss the ways to spend the money in order to improve the neightbourhood where I live.

 The Streets

 First of all, is neccesary to know that the streets of my           neightbourhood are in a terrible conditions. People always are complaining about it. Apart from that the streets need lighting, because when it get dark people feel unsafe, and afraid of the thefts.

Schools

A large number of people said that schools in the neightbourhood need to be painted, and also need  furniture in order to improve the concentration of the students. Furthermore, it could be good for the students, that the classrooms would benefit from air-condition and new computers.

Recommendation

All points considered, I recommend spending the money on the improvement of the streets and also in the repair of the light. It would  also be good if you could upgrade our public schools.

Story

I will always remember that day as one of the happiest days of my life.  I met a very special person one day that I had been in my friend's house with whom I shared many beautiful moments.

One day my friend invited me to go to the cinema, but before we went to watch the film, we decided to go to eat sandwitches, where we spend a very fun time together. I always used to enjoy our time, because he always had the right words at the right moments.

When we had arrived to the cinema, we noticed that the movie was really ugly ! but in despite of the movie, that one meeting made it a day I will never forget.

Be famous or to be sucessful but not so well-known

The idea of being famous is very compelling. If you are famous, you have enough money to buy whatever you want. What is more they meet people and travel all around the world. Apart from that they have a lot of fans who really love them.
However being recognized by everyone has its disadvantages. People who are famous do not have privacy, they can not walk on the street at ease because journalist chase them everywhere, and also invet gossip about their lives.
On the other hand, being succesful but not so well-known has good things, for example they can live in peacefully or have time to share with their family or friends. Besides this sucessful people can enjoy a film in the cinema or a day in the countryside without thinking about photagraphers or journalist. So, despite the money and the luxuries that can have a famous person, I prefer being sucessfull but not well-known and a normal life in which I can enyoy with my family and my friends.

UNIT 5

Dear Caroline,
The letter which I received two days ago was packed with so much exciting news! I'm glad to hear about the educational summer camp in Australia. Could you tell when the courses start ?
I would like to do all the subjects and also do all kind of sports because I think it will be a good opportunity to learn more about other culture and also to keep me fit and enjoy sports.
What would be the price? I ask because I need to save more money. If you ask me I prefer to go to The Great Barrier Reef, I was watching some pictures about this place and it is wonderful. Apart from that the reason why I choose it, is because I would like to swim with dolphins, I love them, is a dream for me.

I tried Asia Gourmet for the first
time 2 years ago, and it has the best food I have never eaten.
The surrounding are modern, it is a homely place. The waiters are very friendly and informative, and not too busy, is why it is one of the most popular restaurant.
In this restaurant you can choose what you eat because it is free fork.There are a great variety of tasty dishes, such as chicken, salads, grilled fish, pasta, etc. All the ingredients are clearly fresh and of the highest quality. And the best part of all, is the price, you can eat all you want for only $ 80 per person which I thought is very reasonable.
If you like delicious food, come to Asia Gourmet. You will not regret, furthermore you will want to go to there more often.

Story

A journey I remember was 4 years ago when I was going to the airport with my friend. We went to San Francisco on holiday and we had to be in the airport one hour before the flight.

We left home with plenty of time, so when we arrived to the motorway, we noticed that there was a huge traffic jam. We didn't know what to do. We decided to leave the motorway and try to find another way to the airport.We were sure we were going to miss the flight. We finally arrived at the airport just thirty minutes before, fortunately the plane had not left yet.We had to run with all our cases to the departure gate.

At the end we caught our flight and we had been in San Francisco for two weeks. After all, it was a indelible memory.

Swimming is a good choice

I first got interested in swimming when I started the secondary school. A friend of mine invited me to the swimmmig pool, so she encouraged me by saying that it was easy.
I found I really liked it because I had never swum before so I thought that it was relaxing, and it also kept me fit.
After a week I decided to do swimming lessons. Now I think that I swim quite well. I learnt to do front crawl, forward crawl, butterfly, and many more styles.I enjoyed it when I saw the happinness on the face of my teacher.
I'd recommend it as a hobby because for me it's one of the best physically activities and also very enjoyable.

Thank for your email which I received yesterday, it was wonderful to hear from you after so long. I think the best time to come is autumn you can enjoy Salta because the wheather is better.
If you want to know young people you should  practice a water sports. What about going to the swimmig pool with me ? I have a lot of friends so I think you will have a good time with them.
In autumn the day is warm but at night the wheather change an it could be windy so you should bring light clothes for the day time but jacket for the evenings.

Dolphins

Dolphins

Dolphins are very intelligent, curious and also have excellent hearing, they seem to be loved by humans. Most of the dolphins' species live in saltwater but there are same that are able to do well in the freshwater location.

The food that dolphins eat is different for each species, some dolphins eat fishes like herring, cod or mackerel, some others eat squids.

Dolphins are considered an endangered species, alarming statistics suggest  that more and more dolphins are being killed by dynamite, fishing nets, marine pollution but most of dolphins deaths are attributable to man.

Many actors help to disseminate what is happening with the dolphins but the success key was the campaign to bring the truth to the public.

Freddie Mercury

Freddie Mercury

Freddie Mercury was a Singer, songwriter and musician British who was well-known for being the founder and lead Singer of the rock band queen.

He was tall and slim. His unforgettable smile was one of the most beautiful that I have ever seen and . He used to look very well in casual clothes.

Freddie Mercury was a very generous person, he always helped people, that’s the reason why loved him. Freddie Mercury also was an incredible student; he was the top of his class.

He didn’t like doing the same things in his free time; however he enjoyed reading and also enjoyed writing songs. He liked going out with his friends, he loved the parties !

Freddie Mercury was an excellent song writer, one of the best I have ever heard. For me was a big pain to lost him because I love all his songs and his marvelous voice.
